Find the right UT Austin office
Review UT Austin Disability and Access guidance and forms for the current housing process. The university says review begins after University Housing and Dining confirms an active housing contract; a licensed professional familiar with the student may need to complete the ESA verification form. University Apartments requests should be submitted at least 60 days before the preferred move-in date under current guidance. Check the university page for updates and residence-hall timing.
Allow time for both parts of the process
The provider supplies supporting clinical information; Disability and Access reviews the request and sends a recommendation to University Housing and Dining, which makes the final housing decision. Approval is subject to availability and is not guaranteed by an ESA letter or PSD letter from the provider. Ask the university how it will communicate the decision and whether additional information may be needed.
